Ford has launched an all new version of its Fiesta hatch – the ST-Line.
Inspired by Ford Performance, the ST-Line features a host of additions to both the interior and exterior of the car.
On the outside, there’s a honeycomb design for the front grille, as well as fog lamps with darker surrounds. A rear diffuser gives the ST-Line an incredibly sporty look, as does a large roof spoiler. The whole car sits on 17-inch alloy wheels finished in metallic grey, while the entire ride height has been lowered thanks to sports suspension.
Inside, sports seats with red stitching are included, as is a dark woven headliner and a ST-style gear level.
Roelant de Waard, vice president for marketing, sales and service at Ford Europe, said: “With our new ST-Line range even more customers can experience sporty style and driving dynamics inspired by our most exciting Ford Performance line-up ever, that includes models such as the Focus RS, new Fiesta ST200 and Ford GT supercar.
“This year we expect to sell 40,000 performance cars in Europe, a 50 per cent increase compared with 2015, which in turn saw performance car sales rise by 61 per cent compared with 2014.”
There’s also a wide variety of engines for customers to choose from, ranging from a 1.0-litre EcoBoost to a 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine.
As well as a manual gearbox, the ST-Line can also be specified with an automatic gearbox, controlled through steering wheel-mounted paddles.
The ST-Line range starts at £15,646 for the Fiesta, rising to £20,595 for the Focus ST-Line.
