Change-colour Smart

Latest model’s trick is to appear blue, silver or beige – depending on how it reflects light.

It’s blue, or is it? With the special paint on this new Smart Fortwo, you can never quite be sure, because it changes shade with the light.

This new model is based on the Passion version of the two-seat city car and is available as a coupe or a cabrio. Inside there are brown leather seats, wheel rim, gearshift, plus leather and velour floor mats. A rev counter and clock are also added.

This new model, called the Limited Two, also has alloy wheels and that special paint. It’s light blue metallic, but can show silver and beige tones according to the light. Options at extra cost include electric power steering, a lockable glove box and an upgraded sound system.

Prices on the road are £9575 for the coupe and £11525 for the cabrio. The cars will be in showrooms in time for the September 1 change to 58-plate.
