Big Blue Wheel takes landmark tour of North

We take our brand icon, the Big Blue Wheel, on a sight-seeing spree. Click below for photos’s brand icon, the Big Blue Wheel, works hard for its living. So after a tough spell touring the shopping centres of the North, bringing the name to countless thousands of would-be car buyers, we decided that it deserved a spot of sight-seeing.

So we took it on a tour of the North’s best known sights. Here it is at Anthony Gormley’s Angel of the North at 20m tall, the Angel is rather larger than our 3.3m inflatable wheel, but the two kept company near the A1 road into Tyneside for a while.

From then, the BBW moved to the Newcastle dockside, where for a while it shared the skyline with the Millennium Bridge and the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art.
